Hanmer Adventure is excited to announce the arrival of three fun backyard games now available for hire. Your choice of hiring for a few hours in the backyard/park or overnight for hours of entertainment.
Cornhole
Cornhole, bags, sack toss, bean bag toss — whatever you call it, this game is a summer essential. Hugely popular worldwide, it’s now sweeping across New Zealand.
This straightforward yet challenging game provides hours of fun and entertainment for all ages. It’s competitive and addictive.
You can hire either one board or two — it’s up to you. Get outside and may the best players win!
The rules are simple: Two players or teams compete to be the first to reach or exceed 21 points. A bag in the hole earns 3 points, while one on the board earns 1 point.
ONE BOARD:
4 hours: $50
8 hours or overnight: $80
TWO BOARDS:

Giant Kubb
Our Giant Kubb (also known as Viking Chess depending on where you’re from!) is crafted from natural hardwood, ensuring the pieces stay upright on uneven ground and resist being blown over by the wind. The Kubb King measures a substantial 30cm × 9cm, so when we say giant, we mean it!
Kubb is a fun outdoor Swedish throwing game. Form two teams, set up your pitch, and compete to knock over your opponents’ blocks before taking down the King to win the game.

The game is conveniently packed in a sturdy wooden crate with rope handles for easy storage and transport.
Giant Kubb comes with 1 × King (30cm × 9cm), 10 × Field Kubb pieces (15cm × 7cm), 6 × throwing batons (30cm × 4.5cm), 4 × field markers (30cm × 2cm), Packed in an easy to carry wooden crate (35cm L × 24cm H × 25.5cm W).
